To support and give back to my community, I will offer probono work from time to time. This is not something I can do on a regular basis for the sake of business, however, when I am able, I will offer my services for free. There are a few strings attached:
- You must apply to be considered. Your application should be as thorough as possible and explain why you need pro bono services, your willingness to comply to the rest of the terms below.
- You must be willing to work on my time line. Though you will be a priority as my other clients, I will not be able to devote as much time at once to your project.
- You must be willing to write a testimonial for my services.
- You must leave a link to this website on whatever I develop for you. If it’s not a website–the link should be displayed on you website like this: “[Insert Service] provided by Lucinda Uncensored.”
For fellow designers
If you need a quick assist on one of your projects or a professional opinion on a matter related to a project you are working on, I offer a free 30 minute consultation to help you. Since you can’t backlink for this service, I ask that you present a barter in lieu of monetary payment. I reserve the right to deny the barter. If more than a half hour of my assistance is needed, it will be billed accordingly. The application process below does not apply. Contact me directly to determine my availability.
Still Interested?
If you are interested in being a pro bono client, please fill out and submit the form below. Forms will be addressed in the order they are received, with no gaurantee of acceptance. Pro bono projects will be selected based on my availability, funds available from the affiliate accounts that fund this service, and applicant need. Please do not apply more than once.
You will receive a status reply within 24 hours with the date I am available for the project, and it is up to you how to proceed. On the off chance several applications are approved around the same time, you will be given a number–and it is up to you to decide if you want to wait. If you have been approved for a pro bono project within the last 12 months (rolling, not calendar), you are not eligible for assistance again. If you have applied and been denied within the last 12 months, you may apply again with another project.
